Staying Inspired

It is so easy to get inspired but is definitely a challenge to stay inspired. So how do we keep the momentum going after the initial “high” has worn off?

Here are some ways I stay inspired, especially when I feel like all the momentum and creativity has been sucked out of me.

I know this sounds incredibly simple, but I’m telling you when you are feeling completely drained and empty you need to take an hour, a day, a week just to rest and listen. We get so caught up in the NEXT STEP or NEXT GOAL that we forget how to take advantage of the opportunities right in front of us. It’s crucial to take a moment, sit quietly, journal, meditate and reconnect with what you are supposed to being doing right now. I promise you, God/Universe will re-inspire you to be the best version of yourself right now.

Creativity is like any other muscle, it needs to be worked out. If you are getting caught up in the grind and you are feeling un-inspired you need to reconnect with your creative side. Whether that is reading, painting, crafting, dancing or singing, you need to make time for what inspires your creativity every single week. Work those creative muscles!

No one can do everything on their own! Find your tribe! I find it incredibly helpful to brainstorm with my mentor. We have decided to schedule this time in every month. Join networking groups to be inspired by other entrepreneurs. Start a mastermind group. Do whatever it takes to surround yourself with other like-minded individuals. After all, you are the average of the top 5 people you spend time with.

I hope these ideas help you push through the creative burnout, and continue to be the best you can be!
